I came across this game on Wargame Vault a few months ago. Always interested in new place systems, I picked up the bundle with Blood on the Blade, and its Sci-fi counter, Blood in Space when it was on sale. I read through the rules a time or two, then ended up moving on to other projects. After reorganizing some of my PDF prints into some binders, I decided to give it a go using some models I had handy.

SoBaH - Convoy Ambush
Next up in my campaign, a transport mission. After successfully repelling the assault on the mission, our Guardsmen load up and attempt to withdraw some valuables and supplies out of the mission and back to town. On their way, a few raiders await to block their path, hoping to get that booty for themselves. The loner the Gnolls can delay the Guardsmen, the more raiders will likely converge to assist. Can the Guards make it through the woods in time?

SoBaH - Gnoll Raiders
Here's another recent battle, my first foray into A Song of Blades and Heroes. I had heard quite a bit about this game on various online posts, but had never come across it in person. Since I have a growing collection of fantasy models, it seemed like a great game to get me back into the hobby. I drew up some lists from some models I had recently painted up for Frostgrave and decided to get it on the table. Like most of my games these days, this was played at home solo, with me just playing both sides to see how the story plays out.
